The movie Jaws came out when I was a kid. I recall being so scared that I would keep my arms and legs in the middle of my bed at night. I was afraid the shark was going to get me in my bedroom. Funny to think about. But back then, I was truly scared. Here are a couple of questions for you. First, what is it that causes you fear? Think about that for a minute. Secondly, how do you overcome fear? Think about that too. Here\u2019s why: One of Satan\u2018s greatest weapons is fear. The snake that he is, he uses it every time he can to bring us down. To make us feel unworthy. On the other hand, probably the greatest weapon that God has is love. And that\u2019s awesome. Because we can use God\u2019s love to overcome our fears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here is something that I have read. \u201cLove is something everyone wants. Fear is something everybody wants to get rid of. And there are four keys to overcome unhealthy fear in your life. Understand God\u2019s Love. Experience God\u2019s love. Believe God\u2019s love. Complete God\u2019s love.\u201d When we understand that God\u2019s love is limitless, we know fear has no power over us. When we truly experience God\u2019s love, we feel the power it has over fear. When we believe in God\u2019s love, we have the confidence to show others its power over fear. And completing God\u2019s love is when we show others that fear can\u2019t control us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today let\u2019s thank God for his love for us. Let\u2019s live knowing that when fear comes after us, God\u2019s love has us covered. And the victory has already been declared. The cross did that for us. And if you don\u2019t know God\u2019s love, maybe today is the day for you to receive it into your hearts. Maybe today is the day you believe. Believe that Jesus is our Lord and Savior. He\u2019s waiting. He\u2019s willing. Actually, he\u2019s wanting you too. He wants us to live lives without fear. Because he loves us. Always has. Always will.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
