A Charlie 22 Outdoors Global Missions Experience
“Here am I. Send me.” – Isaiah 6:8
Operation South Africa is unlike any previous Charlie 22 Outdoors experience. This is not simply a hunt, and it is not simply a mission trip. It is a calling that invites a select group of Veterans and Volunteers to step beyond comfort, familiarity, and routine to serve where the need is great and the mission is clear.
This global mission will unite 4 Veterans and 6 Volunteers, partnering with HuntSA, to bring provision, presence, and the hope of Jesus Christ to a local South African community.

Tentative Trip Date: September 7th – 17th 2026
Application Deadline: February 15th, 2026
THE CALLING
This mission-centered non-trophy hunt is rooted in stewardship and service. Animals harvested during the hunt will be ethically and purposefully used to provide meat for the local community. Our team will personally enter that community to prepare, serve, and distribute meals, while also sharing a message of hope, dignity, and faith.
This is faith lived out through action. Meeting physical needs while pointing hearts toward eternal hope.
THE EXPERIENCE
Operation South Africa will be:
- Physically demanding – rugged terrain, long days, and strenuous conditions
- Mentally challenging – extended international travel, limited comforts, and sustained endurance
- Spiritually stretching – serving in unfamiliar environments where faith must be practiced daily
- Deeply transformative – for both those who go and those who are served
This is not tourism.
This is not recreation.
This is a mission that requires full engagement – body, mind, and spirit.
WHO SHOULD APPLY
This opportunity is for individuals who:
- Are physically capable of navigating rough, uneven terrain
- Are mentally prepared for lengthy travel and demanding conditions
- Are spiritually grounded and willing to serve with humility
- Understand this is a service-first mission, not a typical hunt
- Be comfortable praying with others and speaking openly about faith or sharing their testimony with individuals and communities we encounter
- Are ready to represent Christ and Charlie 22 Outdoors with integrity
All applicants will undergo a prayerful vetting and selection process. Final selections will be made to ensure each participant is fully capable, prepared, and aligned with the heart of the mission.

CALLED TO GIVE
If you feel led to support Operation South Africa but are unable to apply or attend, you can still be part of the mission.
We invite you to partner with us by giving toward a student scholarship, directly impacting a child’s life through education, nourishment, and hope.
If you feel encouraged to give, we would be honored to help you support this ministry and the work being done through this mission.
We also ask our partners, supporters, and prayer warriors to pray intentionally over this mission, for safety, unity, provision, and for hearts to be open to the message of hope that will be shared. Prayer is a vital part of this mission, and we invite you to stand with us in covering this team and the communities they will serve.
Whether you go, give, or pray…YOU are part of the mission.
