Two big announcements!

Operation Roaring River will be October 1-4, 2023.

This has quickly become our signature event and it will be our 9th time hosting in the park. And we are excited about it.

All expenses (lodging, meals, guides, gear, licenses, and travel) paid fishing event. Any and all veterans (retired or currently serving) are welcome to apply. Fly and/or spin real fishing options. Wading and/or bank fishing options. Wheelchair accessible fishing areas.

Applications due August 31, 2023. To apply go to https://charlie22outdoors.com/.

Our other announcement is this: We have been selected to shoot the gun on March 1. This is the opening of the 2023 season in the park. This is an incredibly humbling honor that we have been given. We cannot tell you how much we are grateful for the opportunity. So very exciting.

We are also going to buy fishing tags for any veterans/active duty personnel who want to join us on that day. If you would like to participate, please send us an email. As we will not see comments to this post. Please remember, you will be responsible for bringing your own fishing gear. We will also provide drinks and a hot lunch. Registration deadline is Monday, February 13. To register email: Charlie22outdoors@gmail.com

We want to thank Joel Topham, David Waugh, Brad Farwell, and all of the rest of the staff at the park. Both for the event in October and the honor of opening the season on March 1.

We love you all and we thank you for your support.
